First Day Hike - Bear Island

Join us for a First Day Hike on Bear Island!

We will meet at the park visitor center at 1:00 PM and travel over to Bear Island to explore some of the island's habitat and wildlife that occupy the island during the cooler winter months.

We will take a leisurely hike out to the beach and talk about the maritime forest, sand dunes, and even the beach habitat. There might even be some time to collect sea shells! Be prepared for any weather conditions that might occur and dress appropriately for the boat trip.
