Join a park ranger for a paddle through the tidal salt marsh in this extremely popular program. The two-hour trip follows a one-and-a-half-mile loop trail. This trip is designed to introduce visitors to coastal kayaking and is geared for beginner paddlers. Participants will be allowed to sign up for only one trip at a time and one trip per month. Guided Kayak Trip
Come to the park and enjoy a two hour ranger-guided kayak trip through the surrounding marsh waters of Hammocks Beach State Park. This is a great opportunity to discover some of the wildlife that call coastal North Carolina home. Kayaks, paddles, and lifejackets will be provided. Space is limited, must be 13 and older to participate.
